Today I wanted to see if I could get some "action" shots. The reason I put action in quotation marks is because the most action thing I could really get was my chickens. They don't stand still for that long so I thought that must count for something. Mainly though, I wanted to see how the cameras would do with the subject moving.
Canon EOS M50

iPhone XS Max

These first two pictures of are my little chicken Mura. She's super cute and I thought the way she was looking at me through the chair arm would make a nice photo. Because they are alive animals that don't stand still for long there was no real way to get exactly the same photo, but I tried the best I could to take as similar of pictures that I could.
The photo on the right I actually wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get. She was watching another chicken and her head kept moving so when I looked back and found that picture with it's amazing clarity, I was surprised and happy. On the second photo, I knew I got it just because of how long she had been still, but I still think it is a cute photo. All in all I like the left side better because of the clarity in the photo and because of the lighting that the camera captured.

These next two photos are of my rooster and in both photos he was moving his head a bit. I personally really like both of the photos because they both are quite focused and clear. On the first photo his wattles are moving because he was tossing his head and the same goes for the second. Both they both focused well on the head for a moving subject.
One thing that I definitely like about the camera is the fact that you can change the sutter speed but on the phone I haven't found out how to do so (if you can atleast). I do like how both camera preformed, the lighting is different but both are nice in my opinion.

The last set of photos that I choose to show are of another one of my hens while she was having a long itch. She isn't the most sightly bird and she certainly isn't any nicer than she looks, but her moving was good for my photography.
The left side is for sure way sharper and the lighting is different but they both are reativly focused. I will say though that the difference between the two cameras really shows up when the photos are bigger. I do like the right side better though because of how much clearer it is when zoomed in.
