Photography 2 Proposal

I’ve recently figured out that fish photography is a thing, and can even be a full-time career. I myself enjoy fish and if possible, I would like to explore that for the first month. For me, I’d like to dive more specifically into Betta fish photography as A. I have some myself, B. I enjoy taking pictures of them and C. it would give me the challenge of capturing crisp pictures of a fairly active animal. 

Although I would plan to focus the majority of my time for now on capturing bettas, I definitely don’t want to make it exclusively betta fish photography. As I get more confident and attuned to capturing fish, I’d like to try and photograph white cloud mountain minnows as well. These fish are a lot smaller and move a ton more, so it would be more of a challenge to get good, clear photos. 

From what I’ve seen most of the photos or at least the ones that I enjoy, are edited which would lead nicely into a topic that I want to explore more as well, editing and photoshop. I’m aware that my Chromebook doesn't have the capabilities to run adobe photoshop or lightroom, but I do want to get adobe on a desktop sooner or later. And if all else fails, I’m sure I can find a lesser version online to use. As I said earlier I am interested in photoshop and editing, but whether I add it to this topic is something that I haven't decided yet and is something I’m totally open to discussing! 

As for the timeline and duration of this project, I’d say around a month and a half to two months. There are other topics I’d like to explore more in-depth later on but for now, this is the one that interests me the most. So if I start say Tuesday, September 22, 2020, I would end between the dates of October 27, 2020, and November 3, 2020. The dates are obviously very flexible and I’d be more than happy to make changes to better suit our class schedule.
