Proposal #4- Macro Photography
This proposal was all about macro photograohy and I really enjoyed it. I have liked the idea of macro and close up pictures for a while now, but doing this proposal really allowed me to dive deeper into it and explore it for myself. I got my macro lense as a Christmas present last year, and aside from taking a few pictures here and there, I hadn't really gotten to soend all that much time with it until now. My lens is really super cool and I enjoy it a lot. I don't know too much about them because I was not the one who did the research for this one, but mine has a little ring light on it that has two settings. I absolutely loved taking pictures with it because I thought that it gave the pictures such a pretty illunination. It also helped darken the backgrounds of photos when I wanted it to.
I have these litte screw on magnifying filters that I used before I got my macro lens and I have to say that I like the actual lens better. You can get so close to things without it being blurry, and I have also found that I can take pretty normal looking pictures as well. I learned a bit about what I like in photography as well as just other ways to take pictures while doing this proposal and overall I really enjoyed doing macro photography.
