Proposal #5- Freeze Motion Photography
I unfortunately didn't get to do too much for this propsal before I had to wrap it up but I was able to do three sets of photos that I had a lot of fun with. I enjoyed doing this quite a lot but one thing that I hadn't fully considered was the absolute amount of photos I would be taking. Each day I took over three hundred photos and then I had to sort out all the blurry ones and then narrow it down even futher for the few that were my favorites. Because I took the pictures on the rapid fire mode there were sometimes quite a few photos that looked kind of the same and the only part I maybe didn't like so much was the endless sorting of pictures that were practically the same.
I mostly took pictures of liquids because I thought that was the most interesting, and I liked the outcome the best. The way that little droplets of water/milk went flying was pretty fun to photograph. If I were to do it again I would love to drop bigger items into water to get a bigger splash but I didn't want to risk it without a proper camera guard because even with the small things it still splattered everywhere. I did it outside mostly because I wanted the strong light and my dog was with me under a table I was working on. His head got really wet from the overflow water but it was hot out and he is a Spaniel so he was okay :D.
Anyways, here are six of my favorite photos that I have done for this proposal:
